At regular intervals, community members can receive preventative health services such as blood pressure screening, cholesterol testing, and bone density testing. We also have a dental clinic on-site. Additionally, a state of the art medical clinic (Heartland Community Health Clinic) is located across the street.
Neighborhood House is the Polling Place for the residents of Precinct #3.
Children and youth are nurtured through nutritious meals and snacks daily. Children are encouraged to reach their full potential through contact with positive role models, developmental experiences, social stimulation and interaction.
Health and rehabilitation are promoted through delivery of Meals on Wheels to those in need in Peoria, Peoria Heights, West Peoria, Creve Coeur, East Peoria.
The facility is used for banquets, weddings, meeting receptions, baby showers and more.
Health services are provided for seniors through educational seminars and health screenings..
Seniors are provided with hot meals at the House as they participate in educational and recreational programs.
Residents meet and plan neighborhood clean-ups and other projects to improve the area.
The Tri-County area is served through toys, food, gifts and food baskets at Christmas... thanks to hundreds of caring friends in the community.
